29th February 2012 -Last drawing of the month long drawing challenge! I drew the grumpy hedgehog from earlier in the month, who is now happy and playing a fanfare for us on his mini hedgehog tuba!!
I was kinda reluctant to start my drawing challenge, and there have been many times my minds gone blank as I’ve had no idea what to draw, but I think this challenge has freed my mind up. I think I had worried too much about having a fully realised idea, or a well executed image, that it hindered my creativity from well, being creative at all! This challenge has been fun and I think the biggest thing I’ve got from it is the joy of drawing and freedom to just go ahead and draw whatever the hell I feel like!!

Inspired by helping Blair do a diy jobby (boxing in the piping behind the toilet btw!!)
Kind of turned out like these weird nightmares i sometimes have about empty public toilets at night time, one dream i had was of toilets all around a room facing into the middle, kinda like this drawing but a bigger room. No idea what Freud would make of that one!!weird!

Star anise bought for a Hugh fearnley whittingstall curry recipe. I just got his vegetable recipe book as I’m trying to cut down on the amount of meat i eat. As a chef known for liking meat, I like his angle on veggie recipes as they look meaty and wholesome. Mmmmm!
